Communication Plan
A communications plan is key when identifying what tactics will support your objective, while sharing those details in a concise format with your supporting stakeholders. It also helps you align your timing and audience.
A key skill to this format is organization.
Being organized and having a clear understanding of what your next steps are will ensure a seamless flow of your planned tactics. It limits mistakes and saves time in the long-run.
Newsletters/Ghostwriting
Within the newsletter, you tell a story. A newsletter helps provide updates about the organization you support. It is an understandable outlet that allows you audience to stay connected to the organization. For the newsletter, it is increasingly important to write clear, short sentences that get the message across.
Newsletters allow you to toss in some creativity; while aligning with the company’s voice.
Event Planning
Planning an event contains many moving parts. It is a team effort with a mix of stakeholders.
Effective event planning ensures that every aspect of an event, from the venue and catering to the schedule and guest list, is organized. This structure helps prevent confusion and ensures that the event runs smoothly.
Communicating with Leaders
This job is not complete without the relationships we build.
Taking the time to build a strong relationship with my leadership team helped improve the communications we’d plan and send out. This is because we have a foundational trust with on another and are able to freely bring forth new ideas.
